The Seedy Sister aims to have the least environmental impact possible, therefore we use paper bags for our dry good products. If you shop at the markets, you are welcome to bring your own containers and jars to use, in this instance we will tare them before you fill up each one.

For our liquids that come in a glass bottles, we charge $2 for the bottle on the first purchase. After this, simply return the bottle and you can either choose to swap it for another bottle of liquid (and therefore only pay for the liquid). If you have placed an order for delivery and would like to return a bottle, you can simply indicate this on your order and leave your jars outside your house for us to collect when we drop off your delivery.

For our syrups and spreads that come in a glass jar, the price of the jar is included in the product. However, if you wish to return the jar to us, you will receive a 50c off your next purchase. For all glass bottles and jars that are returned to us, we wash and sanitize each one for reuse. Please be advised that we only accept The Seedy Sister bottles and jars. Unfortunately we cannot accept other bottles and jars as this interferes with our sanitizing process.

For our household and body products, which includes dishwashing and laundry liquid, shampoo, conditioner and hand and body wash, we encourage you to use your own bottles. For delivery, simply place them outside your house and we will fill them up when we are dropping off your delivery.
