Seedy Sister Satay Sauce

Okay, this week we are indulging you in our best Seedy Satay sauce recipe ever! It is so super easy 👌 
We shared this recipe a long time ago, but feel like we need to share again, to warm your hearts and tickle your tastebuds. It is super versatile as it can be used for many things, such as a dipping sauce (our rice paper roll resident sauce), a stir fry or even a warm hearty curry! 

Ingredients:

2.5cm piece ginger, peeled and grated

1-2 garlic cloves crushed (or half a teaspoon Seedy Sister Garlic powder

1/2 cup Seedy Sister pure peanut butter

2 tablespoons Seedy Sister Organic Tamari (or Seedy Coconut Aminos if soy free)

2 teaspoons fresh lime juice (lime best but lemon good too)

2 teaspoons Seedy Sister Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

1 teaspoon Seedy Sister Organic Coconut Sugar

Sprinkle of Seedy Sister Chilli flakes and/or Coriander and/or chopped peanuts to serve

Seedy Sister Coconut milk powder - Adjusted amount mixed with hot water to create consistency desired

(Coconut cream is 5 tbsp powder to 1 cup hot water, Coconut milk is 3 tbs to 1 cup)

*Salt & Pepper to taste

 

*If you are making for a dipping sauce you may not want to add much/any cream or milk.

**If you are making a stir-fry double all ingredients and add 1/2cup+ of cream or milk.

***If you are making into a curry double all ingredients and add 2 cups+ of cream or milk.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Add garlic and ginger to small pot on low heat, once fragrant add the other ingredients and stir until all mixed well. People have different tastes, so play around with the amounts of ingredients to suit your taste buds.

If you are making a stir fry or curry, add onion and your favorite veg, we love ours with pan fried tempeh or tofu. We usually stir fry with noodles or pour the curry over rice, YUM
